Young people in Ireland likely to be first generation to be worse off than their parents
Speaking at the University of San Francisco this week Mary Lou McDonald said young people today are likely to be the first generation in Ireland to be worse off than their parents. Locked out of opportunity, and locked out of homeownership. That’s not acceptable.
Each generation must have the chance to make it, and that principle will be the driving force behind Sinn Féin in government.

Is dóichí go mbeidh an mhuintir óg in Éirinn ar an gcéad ghlúin a bheidh níos measa as ná a tuismitheoirí
Agus í ag caint ag Ollscoil San Francisco an tseachtain seo dúirt Mary Lou McDonald gur dóichí go mbeidh an mhuintir óg in Éirinn ar an gcéad ghlúin a bheidh níos measa as ná a dtuismitheoirí. Níl deiseanna acu agus níl tithe acu. Níl sé seo inghlactha.
Caithfidh seans a thabhairt do gach glúin agus beidh an prionsabal seo taobh thiar de rialtas Shinn Féin.

Éilíonn Sinn Féin go laghdófaí praghsanna fuinnimh agus go gcuirfí uasteorainn orthu
D’iarr Sinn Féin an tseachtain seo go laghdófaí praghsanna fuinnimh agus go gcuirfí uasteorainn orthu, chun ualach na géarchéime maireachtála d’oibrithe agus do theaghlaigh a mhaolú.
Dúirt Piaras Ó Dochartaigh go bhfuil costas ioncaim a bhaineann le híocaíochtaí airgid mhaireachtála i measc na mbeart eile atá le moladh ag Sinn Féin, agus íocaíocht dhúbailte aon uaire ar shochar leanaí.

Géarchéim tithíochta do mhic léinn á mbrú as an gcóras oideachais
Tá mic léinn á mbrú as an gcóras oideachas tríú leibhéal trí theip an Rialtais dul i ngleic le géarchéim tithíochta na mac léinn.
Léirigh suirbhé a rinne Sinn Féin ar mhic léinn le déanaí go bhfuil 66% ag smaoineamh ar thitim amach as an gcoláiste mar gheall ar an ngéarchéim seo.
Tá níos fearr tuillte ag mic léinn. Ní féidir leis an Rialtas dul ar aghaidh leis an moilleadóireacht – Tá gá le gníomh ANOIS!
