Slavic Fair at the Mary from Dungloe International Arts Festival
Ukrainian-Polish Culture Day 'Slavic Fair’ will take place during Mary From Dungloe International Arts Festival 2023.
This event is organized by the Dungloe for Ukrainie intitative in cooperation with Polish, Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar communities with full support of the festival, DLDC and generous local sponsors.
Polish Ambasador to Ireland, Anna Sochańska and Ukrainian Ambasador to Ireland, Larysa Gerasko will be gracing our fest with their presence.
At the heart of this event lies a charitable cause that comes from a place of communal support and solidarity. This event is managed by the Dungloe for Ukraine initiative which was created to bring aid and spiritual support to the Ukrainian frontline.

The aim of Slavic Fair is to share with the local communities, visitors and wider Irish public the richness and diversity of our slavic traditions through our customs, folklore and arts. Various musical performances, singing and dancing, traditional art demonstrations, poems reading as well as presentation of our regional ethnic outfits will create one colorful, vibrant and exquisite mozaik of entertainment for all.
Our visitors will also enjoy a very diverse Craft Fair, full of unique hand made pieces and regional produce from Poland and Ukraine. We are going to serve our traditional culinary delights and some delicious cakes and pastries. Please join us for a real taste of our slavic hospitality.
It will be a day full of fun for families with many children oriented activities base on our colorful traditions. They will be all embracing and inclusive. We are looking forward to seeing all the families on the day!
