Sinn Féin ready to lead government North and South
Speaking on Sky News this week Mary Lou McDonald said Sinn Féin is ready to lead government, north and south.
She said her ambition is that we would lead the next government in Dublin.

Paschal Donohue must answer questions in the Dáil
Pearse Doherty has said attempts by the Minister Paschal Donohue to explain away a donation to him by his friend have lacked any credibility.
He said the Minister must come clean on all of the outstanding issues.

Over 700 Sinn Féin members attend National Uniting Ireland Members’ Conference
Over 700 Sinn Féin members attended an online Uniting Ireland Conference this week with guest speaker Ailbhe Smyth.
Senator Lynn Boylan chaired the meeting and party chairperson Declan Kearney MLA and Gerry Adams addressed the meeting.
The meeting focussed on the current party campaign to get the Irish Government to establish a Citizens’ Assembly on Irish Unity. Prior to the meeting members had been provided with this discussion document on the Citizens Assembly on Irish Unity.
Attendees were informed about elements of the upcoming campaign which they will be involved in. This includes canvassing, posters and billboards.
Participants were urged to reach out to others and build alliances with those in their communities and in civic society towards this goal.
Action, not words, needed to address the trolley crisis
Sinn Féin used its Private Members’ Time in the Dáil this week to put forward our proposals to end the constant crisis in our hospitals.
We need action, not words, to address the Trolley Crisis. We need a multi-annual plan to deliver capacity in hospitals.

Executive must be formed to deliver real change for people
Speaking on BBC TV this week Michelle O’Neill said The Assembly election result must be respected, and an Executive formed to deliver real change for people.
Workers and families need to be supported as the cost of living rises, our health service requires urgent investment, and lifesaving laws must be delivered.
We must work together to make politics work for everyone.
