Polish president to meet Trump by year’s end, with potential invitation to Poland
Polish President Andrzej Duda will meet with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump before his inauguration on January 20, 2025, according to presidential aide Wojciech Kolarski.

The time and location are still being finalized, but the meeting is expected to take place within weeks, potentially in late November or December.
The planned discussion will address Poland’s upcoming presidency of the EU Council, beginning January 1, 2025, with a focus on strengthening transatlantic relations—a priority for Poland’s EU leadership, Kolarski noted.
Kolarski further mentioned that President Duda has extended an invitation for Trump to visit Poland, possibly for a planned EU-U.S. summit during Poland’s EU presidency or the Three Seas Initiative Summit in April. Trump’s last visit to Poland was in 2017 as a guest of the Three Seas Summit.
