Observing soldiers from the 12th Szczecin Mechanized Division during a training session in the northwest of the country, Błaszczak on Friday underscored the system’s significance in enhancing the Polish Army’s equipment and training regime, state news agency PAP reported.

„This is indeed another breakthrough,” Błaszczak said, lauding the system, during a visit to Oleszno near the northwestern town of Drawsko Pomorskie.

The system, developed in partnership with Swedish company Saab, stands out as an avant-garde iteration of the laser battlefield simulation system, surpassing versions used in other NATO training grounds, according to military officials.

The sophisticated simulation system precisely mirrors the battlefield, integrating sensors on soldiers’ uniforms and combat vehicles to cultivate an immersive training environment.

Błaszczak emphasized the system’s capability to simulate authentic combat situations, enabling real-time influence over soldiers’ actions and facilitating precise evaluation of training exercises to inform future strategy.
