Formation of Executive blocked again
The formation of an Executive has been shamefully blocked again this week.
Speaking in the Assembly on Thursday Michelle O’Neill said this is an insult to all those workers and families struggling to heat their homes and put food on their tables.
She said those denying democracy must stop punishing people, and work with the rest us to deliver real change for everyone.

Meanwhile, speaking on Good Morning Britain this week, Mary Lou McDonald said Sinn Féin stands ready to form a government in the north and to make politics work for everyone, irrespective of their political view.

Health Minister refuses to debate Sinn Féin spokesperson
Speaking on the Tonight Show on Virgin Media One this week Sinn Féin Health spokesperson David Cullinane TD said Minister Stephen Donnelly has refused to debate publicly in any studio with him for two years now.
He said the Minister is presenting plans that won’t be delivered and has done little to tackle the crisis in our hospitals and emergency departments.

Ban trade with Israel’s illegal settlements in occupied Palestinian territory
The European Citizens Initiative is calling for legislation to ban trade with illegal settlements including Israel’s illegal settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory.
The campaign needs 1 million signatures for the proposal to be discussed in the European Parliament.
