Polish journalist claims Trump may have ties to Russia’s KGB

Krystyna Kurczab-Redlich, a former Polish correspondent in Russia and author of a biography of Putin, discussed the recent explosive meeting between the US and Ukrainian presidents on the „Express Biedrzyckiej” program.

She suggested that the events, widely commented on around the world, could have been a „setup.”

„Much smarter people than me, like the former US ambassador to Moscow, have already said it was staged. It wasn’t a coincidence,” she said.

Kurczab-Redlich criticized Trump’s treatment of Zelensky during the meeting at the White House, saying that after Zelensky’s arrival, he was immediately thrust into a barrage of questions without prior discussions.

The situation began with a comment on Zelensky’s attire, despite the fact that Zelensky had stated early in the war that he would not wear a suit until it ended. Kurczab-Redlich found this inappropriate, comparing it to World War II when Churchill did not insist on formal dress during the war.

Specialist links Trump’s behavior to Russian interests, citing long-standing ties

Addressing earlier media speculations, Kurczab-Redlich was asked if Trump should be considered a „Russian influence agent,” to which she confirmed.

„I don’t understand why it’s being ignored that the former head of the Kazakh KGB openly stated that since 1987, Donald Trump has been listed in their records as one of their people,” she said.

Kurczab-Redlich emphasized that Trump’s actions align with Putin’s wishes, citing, among other things, the suspension of military aid to Ukraine. She also noted Trump’s long-standing ties to Russia dating back to the 1980s and suggested he might be an agent of Russian influence.

As we previously reported on the Radio Poland website, Jan Brachmann’s article in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung revived speculation that Trump was allegedly recruited by the KGB during his 1987 visit to Moscow and Leningrad, where he is said to have adopted the codename „Krasnov.”
