According to the data, students performed best in the compulsory written part of the modern foreign language exam, with English being the most popular choice.

An impressive 96% of students achieved a passing grade in English, while 95% passed the Polish exam. Mathematics had the lowest pass rate as usual, with 89% of high school graduates obtaining a positive result.

Students were required to pass at least five exams at the basic level, including three written exams in Polish, Mathematics, and a modern foreign language, as well as two oral exams in Polish and a foreign language.

Candidates needed to score at least 30% to pass the basic exams. Additionally, they had to sit at least one advanced-level exam, which did not have a minimum pass threshold.

Across the country, students from the Mazovian Voivodeship achieved the highest results, with 71.98% of the 33,577 students who took the matriculation exam passing successfully. On the other hand, students from the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship performed the worst. Out of 6,488 students taking the exam there, only 59.72% passed.
